Oligo – Food for Friendly Bacteria

Oligo is a pure natural maize and wheat extract forms of isomaltose that has low sweetness content and pleasant tasting. It is generally known as the food source for friendly bacteria in our intestines

Health benefits

i) Support gastrointestinal and immune function

Oligo encourage the growth of friendly bacteria in intestine which protect the intestine from the invasion of bad bacteria. Besides, it also helps in alleviation of diarrhea, constipation or sensitive intestinal inflammation.

ii) Lower blood cholesterol and glucose level

Oligo is also a source of natural soluble fiber which helps to lower your blood cholesterol by binding with some of these high-cholesterol related substances.  In addition, it delays the entry of glucose into bloodstream which lessen the blood glucose spike. Therefore, it is suitable for diabetic patient.

iii) Reduce risk of heart disease

The cholesterol lowering effect of oligo is useful diabetic patients in reducing risk of developing heart disease.

How to select and store

Oligo can be consumed by adding 1 tablespoon to any beverages. It is advised to store in cool and dry place.
